5" x 3 1/2" color photo. Unidentified women. One woman possibly named Dorothy (now known, in the tags, as 201036 Dorothy, so we can hope to locate the name again in this box). Date unknown.

Potential information: This information may serve as clues to help identify the era of the photo, the people in the photo, the place where the photo was taken, or even the photo studio where it was developed. It also may not serve those purposes. The first, and often biggest, clue we have is the box number. A search for that box number will turn up all the items that were found together, which will often lead to connections we couldn't make with just one item. If you have anything you'd like to add, you can do so in the Comments.

Surroundings: They appear to be in a restaurant. Those chairs, someone has to recognize! Woven leather straps on the back and seat. The water glasses are a popular older pattern (I have some and don't know the pattern name), circa the late 1960s, early 1970s, I think. Between the chairs and the "rustic" beams, factor in the coats at the table and I'm not thinking high-end restaurant, something small.

The people: Eight women, one possibly named Dorothy. The ladies look like they spent a good buck at the beauty parlor, which you don't see much these days. I haven't seen it since about 1975. The clothes (panty hose!) and jewelry might help a more informed person ID the date.

The photo itself: Color. On the edge, there is a blue line. Back marked "This paper manufactured by Kodak". According to http://www.cycleback.com/photoguide/stamps.html "The thee (sic) lined printing "THIS PAPER / MANUFACTURED / BY KODAK" was commonly used in the 1970s-80s. If you have a photo that is advertised as being from 1979, the presence of this branding doesn't prove the specific year of 1979 but is consistent with the date." so that's a possible date. Written on the back is "Dorothy." No indication if Dorothy is in the photo but I am going to assume that she is.
